Psalm 88

Underneath Caiaphas’ palace in Jerusalem is a pit where it is believed Jesus was kept while awaiting to be brought before Pilate in the morning. On a podium in the pit is a copy of Psalm 88. Perhaps Psalm 88 is an illustration of how Jesus felt in the pit, knowing he will be crucified the next day.
